Thanks once again Nicholas, always much to chew on. How nice that you have personal communications with the Australian Statistician of all people.

OK — so you're not referring to my views — I don't think I expressed any, but to the article I reproduced. It said that Ukraine had suffered terrible losses.

Please go ahead and substantiate your claim that Russia has not.

Commentators such as Ray McGovern, Scott Ritter, Alexander Mercouris, John Mearsheimer, Jeffrey Sacks, Douglas McGregor and others, quote a casualty ratio Russia/Ukraine of 1 to 10. In raw figures something like 40,000 Russian military to 400,000 Ukraine. Western Mainstream media always reverse the figures with the pretense that Ukraine is winning the war. If I misread your article my apologies.

Like I said, it wasn't my article, but have it your own way ;)

In any event, if you can cite a credible source that the casualty ratio is 1/10 I'd certainly be interested.

Apologies for being obscure. Sadly, Ukraine is caught in a proxy war between the US and Russia, or perhaps Russia and NATO. It is Ukraine that has suffered enormous losses of their military, not Russia.

Hi Nicholas, I enjoy your quirky view of the world; very refreshing! But I think you should do more research on Ukraine. All the evidence I know of suggests that you have Ukraine/ Russia what they say in the classics, "arse about."

Thanks for your quirky comment.

Unfortunately it's not clear whether you're referring to my views or someone whose work has been extracted, nor what alternative position you're suggesting.
